Bulk bag lifters are available with different mounting systems, including fork-mounted and machine-carriage versions. Compatibility depends on the brackets, fork dimensions, machine capacity and required lifting height. The lifter and machine must both be rated for the bag’s maximum loaded weight and used with the load centred and secured. 
Excavation protection is required whenever there is a foreseeable risk of collapse or material falling into the excavation. The chosen method may be a trench shield, shoring, battering or another engineered system, based on depth, soil, groundwater, nearby loads and services. The decision must be made before entry through a site-specific risk assessment and temporary works process, not by relying on a universal depth rule. 
In everyday construction use, the terms are often used interchangeably. Both usually describe two protective side panels connected by spreaders and placed in a trench. Some suppliers use 'trench shield' to emphasise worker protection and 'trench box' as the common product name, so the actual design, capacity and manufacturer’s instructions matter more than the label.

The safe load is not a single fixed figure. It is the lowest limit shown for the jib, hook, lifting accessories and telehandler at the actual boom extension, height and working radius. Because a jib moves the load centre forward, the available capacity can fall substantially, so the correct load chart and marked safe working loads must be used for every lift. 
A lifting jib converts a telehandler into a controlled lifting point for suspended loads that cannot be safely handled with forks. It can be used for items such as machinery, pipes, structural components or bulk bags when the load is attached with suitable certified lifting accessories. Every lift must follow the telehandler’s load chart and a planned lifting procedure. 
A forklift tipping skip collects, transports and discharges waste, offcuts, packaging or other loose material around a site. The forklift lifts the skip using the fork pockets, and a tipping mechanism releases the contents into a larger container or designated area. It must be secured to the forks and used within both the skip and forklift capacities. 
An attachment adapter, sometimes called an interface or implement shifter, connects an attachment made for one carriage type to a different compatible machine carriage. It is useful when existing attachments need to be shared between machines, but it adds weight and moves the load centre forward. The revised lifting capacity and locking arrangement must therefore be checked before use. 
No. Telehandler carriages and locking systems vary by manufacturer and model, and attachments also differ in weight, geometry and hydraulic requirements. An attachment should only be fitted with the correct approved interface and after checking that the combined machine and attachment remain within the relevant load chart. 
A grain pusher will fit when it has the correct bolt-on or welded brackets and its length and weight suit the machine. LWC grain pushers are available in multiple lengths and with rubber or metal blade options, so the choice should reflect store width, floor surface and machine size. The machine must retain adequate visibility and stability with the pusher fitted. 
In the UK, the main requirements come from the Work at Height Regulations, PUWER and LOLER. The employer must select suitable equipment, assess the risks, ensure the telehandler and platform are compatible, use trained operators and provide effective fall protection and communication. The manufacturer’s instructions and HSE guidance for non-integrated work platforms should form part of the safe system of work. 
Yes, provided the scraper edge and suspension or pivot arrangement are suitable for the surface. A rubber edge follows minor irregularities and is kinder to concrete, while heavily broken or sharply uneven ground can cause poor contact and excessive wear. The scraper should be operated slowly and adjusted so it cleans without digging into the surface. 
A silage or grain pusher moves loose material across a clamp or store without repeatedly scooping and tipping it. It is commonly used to push grain towards an intake or reclaim area and to keep material accessible. Wide blades allow large volumes to be moved efficiently while reducing spillage and contamination from tyres. 
It can fit when supplied with the correct brackets and when its width, weight and operating loads suit the machine. Confirm the machine make, model and carriage, plus the required blade width and whether a rubber or metal edge is needed. The pusher must remain stable and must not obstruct visibility or exceed the machine’s rated capacity. 
A telehandler may lift people only with a properly designed, compatible work platform and under a safe system of work. Forklift trucks and telehandlers are primarily material-handling machines, so non-integrated platforms should be used only in exceptional, short-duration situations where safer purpose-built access equipment is not reasonably practicable. People must never be lifted in a bucket, on bare forks or in an improvised container. 
A telehandler work platform is an attachment fitted to a machine whose primary purpose is handling materials. A MEWP is purpose-designed for lifting people and typically provides integrated platform controls, emergency lowering and dedicated stability systems. For planned or repeated work at height, a suitable MEWP is usually the preferred option; a non-integrated telehandler platform is generally limited to exceptional, short-duration tasks.
